Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost to remove a mole?2025-06-12T00:08:46-07:00

For a mole removal, we provide fair, affordable, and honest pricing as the cost of the procedure depends on the size and severity of your mole. If you have more than one mole you would like to remove, we can offer a customized pricing package! One of our patient coordinators will ask for a photo of your mole and give you an estimated price based on that, however the exact cost will be determined at the time of your consultation with the mole removal surgeon.

What does the aftercare process look like after the procedure?2025-06-12T00:09:19-07:00

After your removal, the doctor who removed your mole will explain everything you need to know in order to properly care for the area afterwards. This includes avoiding water on the area for 10 days after the procedure as well as keeping it clean and bandaged. We will also provide 2 healing creams to help prevent scarring and ensure that your skin heals
as quickly and smoothly as possible.

How many moles can I get removed in one session?2025-06-12T00:13:57-07:00

At our clinic, you can remove up to 10-15 moles in one session! We offer special pricing packages for removing multiple moles in one session — ask our Front Desk or Patient Coordinators for more information about this!

Does radiofrequency ablation leave scarring?2025-06-12T00:14:31-07:00

Radiofrequency ablation allows for there to be minimal to no scarring! For most of our patients, 3-6 months after your procedure you will hardly notice any trace of a mole. Many other techniques to remove moles such as shaving and excising tend to leave a larger scar and the chances of the mole growing back is higher as well. We understand the importance of making sure our patients feel confident and happy with their results which is why we choose to work with advanced technology to remove your mole.

Who performs the procedure?2025-06-12T00:15:49-07:00

The mole removal specialist that you meet at your consultation will be the same doctor removing your mole or skin tag. Rest assured, you will always be treated by a skilled, medical professional who has perfected our minimally invasive mole and skin tag removal procedure. Each of the mole removal surgeons on our team are personally trained by our founder Dr. Peter Mann MD, aka Dr. Mole.

Is the procedure painful?2025-06-12T00:16:45-07:00

You should not feel anything during the procedure except for a tiny pinch when the doctor numbs the area before the removal. Most patients describe this tiny pinch like a mosquito bite — virtually painless and hardly noticeable.

How long is a mole removal procedure?2025-06-12T00:17:26-07:00

Our mole removal procedure can take anywhere from 15-45 minutes depending on the size, severity, and how many moles you are getting removed. Many of our patients appreciate how quick and effective this procedure is, with downtime being minimal to none as you are able to return to your regular routine after the removal. You will receive aftercare instructions guiding you through how to take care of the area after the procedure.
