Not at all! Our mole removal procedure is quick and basically painless. Most patients have described the feeling as simply a slight discomfort. Our mole doctors inject a local anesthetic with the smallest needle possible before the procedure to numb the area. After this small pinch, then there is ZERO pain during the actual procedure. This ensures total comfort and relaxation for our patients. A tiny bit of irritation is normal after the procedure and it usually only lasts a couple of days. If patients do feel pain, they can take over the counter Tylenol or ibuprofen, but this is highly unlikely. If you’re concerned with pain, you can talk with one of our patient coordinators. They know the procedure plan backwards and forwards and can ease your anxiety and make sure you feel comfortable and ready for a mole removal treatment with our office!
